How does the collaborative process benefit families?

The collaborative divorce process benefits families, by taking all of the acrimony, and combativeness out of the divorce. A collaborative divorce team is made up of three to four people, who have an agreement with one another to be non-confrontational. I think that helps the parties to have an understanding as to why they are headed to a dissolution of marriage and to figure how to do it in a kind and nice manner.
