Field Sobriety Tests in Maryland

Do you have to take the field sobriety tests in Maryland if you are stopped for suspicion of driving while under the influence (DUI)? You do not have to take the field sobriety tests. Field sobriety tests are the battery of tests performed right after the stop. These are not the tests that are performed at the police station or precinct.
