Downloading and Playing Old-School Video Games (Colecovision, Atari, Nintendo)

There are currently websites where many old video games can be freely downloaded (called ROMs) and then played on software designed to emulate the applicable video game consoles. There are legal considerations involved since technically the downloaded video games are still under copyright.
