There has been a trend recently (since the recession) of spouses living together after their divorce. Basically, this sets up a win-win for the spouses and the children as the kids remain in the house they grew up in and have both parents still there for them. Typically, the 'visitation' schedule remains intact so as to give the children stability for when one of the spouses moves out. Also, this allows for a ready-made babysitter for each spouse. The downside - it can be hard to get back out onto the dating scene when yous till live with your ex-spouse.
