Common Distractions for Pedestrians & How They Cause Accidents

According to a study by the National Safety Council, between 2000 and 2011, more than 11,000 pedestrian injuries were due to pedestrians distracted by their cell phones. While phone use is the main culprit, there are several other types of walking distractions to beware of.
