Can Medicaid take our house for reimbursement?

No, in Florida, your home is afforded what is called homestead protection. Meaning it is protected from creditors and entities that attempted to take it to covers debts and payments, such as reimbursements. Usually, the only encumbrance on a homestead property is the lien made by the financial institution which provided the original loan to purchase the home.
