Can I be stopped and arrested for DUI or DWI in Florida even if the vehicle was not moving?

Yes, you can. As long as you’re in physical control of the vehicle, then they can arrest you for a DUI and could have a DUI conviction on your record. As long as you were in the car or if you had the key to the car and you could start the car and move at any time, then they can still get you for a DUI.
