California Usury Law - Protecting Yourself From Liability When Lending

The California Constitution has embedded within it protections for borrowers against usurious loans, which for ease of discussion means protections against lenders charging borrowers exorbitant rates of interest. Lenders must have at least a rudimentary understanding of usury law or risk liability.
