Automobile Accident Lawyers David Hogg and Aaron Gartlan of The Hogg & Gartlan Law Firm settled a lawsuit at mediation just prior to trial on behalf of a good, honest, Alabama husband and wife.
The Settlement:Personal Injury and Accident Lawyers David Hogg and Aaron Gartlan of The Hogg & Gartlan Law Firm in Dothan settled a lawsuit at mediation just prior to trial in an automobile wreck case on behalf of a good, honest, Alabama husband and wife with the insurance company of the other driver for the husband and with their own insurance company for the wife for underinsured motorist coverage. The car crash occurred as a result of the negligent or wanton conduct of the other driver resulting in bodily and personal injury, pain, suffering and mental anguish to the Alabama husband and wife. The automobile wreck case had been referred to the Hogg & Gartlan Law Firm by another attorney after that attorney attempted to negotiate a settlement without filing a lawsuit.
The Mediation:The Hogg & Gartlan Law Firm filed the lawsuit which alleged negligent and wanton conduct on the part of the other driver and named the husband and wife's insurance company as a party in an effort to recover underinsured motorist coverage on their behalf. The Hogg & Gartlan Law Firm was able to recover the insurance policy limits of the driver that caused the automobile collision on behalf of the wife. Then, after preparing for trial and just prior to the trial date at mediation, a successful settlement was also reached with the insurance company of the other driver on behalf of the husband and with their own insurance company for underinsured motorist coverage on behalf of the wife.
