People should have an expectation of service and quality from their attorneys. These are 2 Behaviors you should insist on from your lawyer.
Answer your request for information.
An attorney should answer your calls or inquiry. They have an obligation to keep you informed and to be responsive to requests for information. Do not accept too busy as an excuse of being responsive to you.
Be upfront with you on Costs.
You should ask and be told upfront what any service will cost. You are entitled to what is being charged and for what activity. Be sure to insist your lawyer is transparent with you on costs.
