My spouse is locked up for PV and when I looked to see actual charges this is what it says. I'm unsure what these abbreviations stand for
CM1st is Criminal Mischief in the First Degree. There are varying degrees of Criminal Mischief and the 1st is the only felony. CM1st is a Class D felony that carries from 1 to 5 years. This charge denotes willful, intentional, wanton or reckless behavior leading to more than $1000 in damage.
UTW 2cts must be UTWM, or Unlawful Transaction with a Minor, two counts. This sounds like a possible DUI accident leading to damage and two people, under the age of 18 years old, were present in the car. If not a car accident then a possible reckless fire or passing out using drugs leading to damage of a home and endangering or hurting or giving rise to possible harm to those under 18 years old. These too are Class D felonies and all together Class D's can stack to 20 years. Here, being only three Class D felonies, altogether, the sentence would seem to cap at 15 years. In all practicality, these often settle as misdemeanor or for 1 years or so concurrent on felony time.
