My 2 yr old son has been traumatically and severley injured due to my landlord. Everyone suggest I file a lawsuit. But who do I turn to for help? I'm hearing Sam just passes your case onto other lawyers and they all get paid and are much more expensive then any other lawyer.
Sam's office has a staff of attorneys as well as a support staff. Although Sam himself will not handle your case, someone who works in the office handles the case. Everyone over there is an excellent attorney. They charge a contingency fee of 1/3.....the no fee guarantee. You do not pay a fee unless there is a recovery. You can find a lot about lawyers by "Googling" their name.
It is common in the legal community for attorneys to refer cases to one another. We are not allowed to solicit business on this website. I suggest you use the Avvo "find a lawyer" tool and read client reviews. Find someone you are comfortable with and who will not refer this out since that is a concern of yours.
answers to questions are for general purposes only and do not establish an attorney-client relationship.
I would call one of us from AVVO for a free consultation. You can always hire whoever you want.
Always consult an attorney IMMEDIATELY as there are time limitations on filing a lawsuit.
I am sorry to hear about your son. Mr. Bernstein was a fine trial attorney. According to the fine print on his commercials he has apparently retired. You may want to ask that question if you call his office. If you are looking for other attorneys, AVVO is an excellent source to help you find an experienced Michigan Personal Injury Attorney. Good luck!
THE WOLF LAW FIRM would be available to assist in this matter after a formal consultation to obtain all necessary facts and review all pertinent documents. THE WOLF LAW FIRM practices in all state and federal courts in Michigan. An attorney-client relationship with THE WOLF LAW FIRM or Answering Attorney is not established until and if a written engagement agreement is executed by all parties and an agreed upon retainer is tendered. In the meantime, please consider this response as a general answer for the benefit and entertainment of the public. We wish you the best. Thank you.
Consult a few attorneys and choose the one you like best. The fee is usually similar it is more a question of who you feel comfortable with.
I agree with the others that Sam has now retired and has an office of good attorneys. There are also excellent 10.0 rated personal injury attorneys here on Avvo. Look them up and interview a few to see who you are comfortable with.
My answer to you question does not constitute legal advice. Only an in person or telephone consultation will result in an attorney/client relationship. Please do not rely on brief answers without checking with an attorney in a confidential consultation.
