She asked to borrow car for a couple hours for a full tank of gas in return....long story short, it has been 14 days now, I tried turning her in two days ago, but they said since I loaned her the car, I have to wait an additional 5 days on top of the 12 days. Seems pretty unfair and reckless to let Her have another 5 days Grace. My entire life is in that car, hence, my sense of urgency. What else can I do besides small claims court? If anything, Mk ASAP..VMS
The police should help you to retrieve your car. Maybe you could call the prosecutor's office.
According to RCW 9A.56.065 and 68, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle are class B felonies.
