I am in process to get my green card, I am waiting the waiver aprove, then I will have to go over sea to have my interveiw at Embassy because I came Ilegally to US and got msrried with a citizen.
I am HIV positive and i Know I will have to do a Lab test over sea before my interview, also I know the HIV test insn't required or considered an Inadmissible ban anymore, but what about if the doctor ask me or see on my Medical record that I am HIV positive? Or if he ask me about any infectious disead and of course I will have to tell him the truth.
I am under treatment here in US for 6 years.
Congress repealed the law that made having tested HIV-positive a bar to permanent residence, and later the U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services took testing HIV positive and AIDS off the list of “communicable diseases of public health significance.”
