My family uses drugs a lot and I'm always in the middle of all of it. I want out because of all the drama and violence. They take me to drug deals with them and they argue and fight when they are high and drunk. I am 15 and about to turn 16. My real father recently passed away so my real mom is trying to get my survivors check so she can have more money. They are also very strict. I can't hang out with any friends or anything. I go where they go when they want me to go. Right after school I come home and I have to stay in my room to stay away from the drugs and fights. I want out. How do I get out? Please help.
You could contact DHS and your local law enforcement agency. It's an unsafe environment, so DHS will look into it and remove you if necessary. Likewise the police can make arrests and investigate the drug possession. One other option may be to research family law attorneys and make an appointment with one so you can explain what is going on and see if they can help with what you're wanting.
If what you are saying about drug use is something you can prove - it is both a crime and child abuse.
Do you have evidence? Like pictures? etc.?
I hope this helps.
