Charged with 2 felony UPCS w/ Intent on alporazolam. First criminal record. Put on 2yrs diversion on 6/4/14 with expungement upon completion on 6/3/16. No issues with probation until 5/27/15. Tested + for marijuana. Had a 10 panel preemployment lab drug test done at Quest Diagnostics on 6/1/15 and got paperwork to start today 6/2/15. I was told by hiring manager that I would not be hired if tested + so one can only assume I tested negative for everything. Results sent to employer, I only received a receipt with specimen ID and time/date stamp, etc. PO sent my results to lab for confirmation but no results back yet.Would I have a chance disputing it in court with my attorney with the preemployment results if PO lab work is + ?Attorney told me not to worry but easier said than done.Opinions?
There is always a chance when you dispute anything. Heed the advice of your Attorney and allow him or her to do what you've paid them to do. Good Luck!
There is a lot at stake here, so worrying is natural. There are likely many variables in your case. Disputing the results would probably require expert testimony. Trust your attorney to know the steps to take.
