If i posted screenshots from the (Social media app WeChat) of a conversation between supervisor and employee. The employee had been let go that day and messaged the company team “Hey! I had a great time working here. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors (:.” The supervisor then sent a screenshot of that message to the employee saying “wish we could say the same about you man. You were the worst intern we had ever had, what a waste of time.” If someone who has created and still had access to the company’s instagram account and posted the screenshots of the conversation, can that be considered a case of defamation according to the supervisor’s point of view?
No. That sounds like either opinion or the Truth.
