It was supposed to be for a year. My only requirement was community service (and obeying the law). I completed all of my community service and handed in the paperwork to the DA. Is there any chance they could move my final date up to dismiss the charge? They seemed annoyed I actually DID my community service already. This is my first and only offense l. Class E misdemeanor.
Probably not. One reason the State agrees to a deferred disposition is to ensure an individual has bail conditions for a certain amount of time. That said, you can contact the ADA who handled the case to see if s/he will agree to allow you to withdraw your guilty plea early.
