I was arrested for a dui about 3 months which is before the expansion began. I went to court 1/22/19 and plead guilty. This is in Riverside county. My bac was .12 didn't damage any property. Will I be affected even though I was arrested before the expansion started?
If the Judge didn't order the ignition interlock the DMV won't require it, as you point out, the law went into effect after your arrest.
This answer is not legal advice, it may not even be relevant to the question answered, it definitely is does not establish an attorney/client relationship.
The law is not retroactive so as long with your arrested before January 1st the interlock laws will not affect you
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
