Hired for a job in New York City which they will be conducting a background check. The main question was if you have any convinctions or pled guilty to a felony or misdemeanor. I answered no. I currently am in the AR program in the state of CT which is pending but statutorily sealed until next year where it will be expunged. I just want to know does this come up on a background check?
It shouldn't as its sealed . If you go to the Ct Judicial Website your name will appear but it cannot be opened
You answered truthfully. If you are in AR you have no conviction and you did not plead quilts. You answered correctly.
