I'm very concerned for our 2 toddlers safety when they are with their dad. We seperated bc he would go out drink heavily and not come home or if he did he'd be extremely mean. My issue is we have a temporary 1week with their dad next with me and are heading to trial in 10 weeks but pretrial is in 3 weeks and my ex keeps violating the temp order about drinking. He's been violated 3xs already and I have more on him. It scares me bc I even caught his friends partying at the home while the kids were there and on another time his friends taking beer to his house while its not aloud to be anywhere near our children and he isn't aloud to drink 24 hours before getting the kids but it hasn't stopped an is getting worse. I can only imagine what else is going on at the home that I don't know or see.
If the father drinks excessively while the children are with him an the children are left unsupervised and neglected, the court will take that into consideration when determining custody after trial. This is not the purpose of a pre-trial conference, however.
