I will be applying for the US citizenship soon. I have a question about "information about my employment and schools I attended" (Part 8) on N-400 form. During the last 5 years, I was unemployed for a while. For this period, I will type "unemployed" and type the dates under Part 8. Will I type N/A in the address section? I already typed my physical address on Part 5.
You should type in "None" as to your employer/employment info.
Typing "N/A" will be OK there.

"None" for the employer and "N/A" for the address are the way to go here.
