I live in the state of Georgia and I was going to purchase a truck I put a down payment down but I never signed any contract or sign any financing now I want to change my mind and I want my down payment back and a dealer says that that I can't get my down payment back.
Can I get my down payment back?
Do they have a right to keep the money I put down(even though, I want signed anything)?
In my opinion, if you signed nothing, then you could not have agreed to a "non-refundable" down payment. Even if you did, sign something like that, there are questions about the legality (or conscionability) of such a term.
Unfortunately, you might have to fight to get your down payment back.
