I was pulled over two months ago for driving on suspended due to one unpaid fine..i got another court day to appear but i still havent paid the fine or got my license back..i live alone and having financial difficulties..i have paid reinstatement fee tho.
A suspended driving charge calls not only for concern about jail time, but also other fallout from a conviction. It is important for you to obtain a qualified lawyer (whether court-appointed or retained) and to reverse your suspended license status, if possible.
Whether you will get active jail depends on such factors as whether you are convicted, your driving record and criminal case history, the circumstances of your case, case negotiations, trial risks, who the judge is, and which court you are in.
All the best to you.
