That we had a son out of wedlock and he was not there when he was born and he said that he wants to sign for terminate of father rights and I’m fine with it because that he tells me that he wants to hit the baby and he’s always high and I know for a fact if he’s around the baby he will have sex in front of the baby and he really don’t care for his son
You need to consult family law counsel. Do not let him have any contact with your son based on the statement that "he tells me that he wants to hit the baby" and "he's always high." You need to protect your son from the father or anyone else who might do him harm. You need to get parent-child court orders in place. Those orders can ensure support for your baby while denying the father contact or possession based on his being a danger to your son if plead and proved. Consult family law counsel in Dallas or Legal Aid options.

The advice given here is not and ahould not be taken as a substitute for in-personal consultation with counsel, particularly where legal documents, such as court orders need to be reviewed.
