My ex boyfriend's dad bought me a vehicle, he said it was his way of giving back for me helping his son. Me and his son broke up now they are saying if I don't pay that they will tow my vehicle from where its at. The title, and everything is in MY name. I'm the owner of that vehicle. Will they get in trouble if they take it? There is no contract plan of me paying him back.
If the title is in your name, then it was a gift and you owe them nothing.
If it is in your name then anyone taking it would be committing theft.
