I was convicted of PC 243 e 1 in 2015 I got my record expunged june/2018 . Will i qualify to work for California department of corrections?
A so-called expungement is actually a dismissal under Penal Code §1203.4 after successful completion of probation. You still have to disclose it when applying for government licenses and certain government jobs.
Your biggest problem is that you are permanently prohibited from possessing firearms under Federal law because you were convicted of a domestic violence misdemeanor and 1203.4 doesn't restore gun rights. I don't think you can become a correctional officer if you can't possess guns.
