Husband has been in jail in Louisiana for 9 months an he has bond but Harris County Tx has a hold on him. With the Tx charges he has done 134 days in rehab plus 30 days in county jail all from the same Tx charges so will the 134 in rehab and the 30 days plus the 9 months in la jail all count once he is back Harris County custody
A lot more information is needed to fully answer this question. It really depends on if he's awaiting trial in one or both places, if he's been charged at all or just picked up and arrested, or if he's serving a sentence in jail in one or both, etc. I recommend that you discuss this with your husband's attorney. If he doesn't have an attorney, then it is time to get one. There might be one that you can find that is qualified in both TX and LA, but if you can't find one like that, then he might need 2 attorneys. Help your husband find an attorney to represent him, or if he's already represented, then you should ask his attorney this question.

There is no one set answer, but it is clear that your spouse needs counsel in both jurisdictions, whether that is one dual licensed attorney or separate counsel for each state..
