no Convictions but multiple bench warrants for failure to appear on 3 dui charges and a cite and release. $30,000 dollar bail has been posted
It is possible but not likely. You could be taken into custody if the Warrant pops up. You really should address these warrants.
It is very unlikely that you'd be extradited in this situation. It is, however, very likely that the situation will cause you problems and/or inconvenience if you don't get it addressed.
Even if it's unlikely that you'll be extradited.... it's certain you'll get locked up for the warrant. All it takes is a traffic stop or a name check.
Then you're in jail again asking to bail out again. If California says they don't want to go to the trouble of extraditing you, that does not mean they dismiss the charges.
It just means that they don't want to spend the money coming to get you.
The charges remain in place, as well as the warrants. So if you get stopped again, the process will repeat itself all over again.
You need to go back to California and deal with these cases so you can put this all behind you.
And you'll need a good lawyer
The extradiction to California may be a stretch yet, a custodial detension on an outstanding out of state warrant will be a frequent occurence in your regular course of life.
