I got pulled over for my second dui in 2017 no accident no injuries is just a ticket I really want to visit my sick mum in March If I take care of my court fines and others will it affect me in my returning back or face deportation and how long do I have to wait to file for my citizenship would it affect my application....please help
This is a complicated question. It sounds like you've been convicted of two DUIs but it's possible that one was treated as a first offense and would not be considered a conviction. You should seek legal advice from an immigration attorney ASAP - that means before you leave the country or you apply for naturalization. Two DUIs is a deportable offense.
You should really talk to a lawyer before traveling or resolving your charges. There are concerns about convictions, danger to community and habitual drunkard classification.
I don't do immigration per law per se, but generally the dui without more is not going to affect you if you are a green card holder. You should defend the charge regardless, as there are often ways to avoid conviction, and it often costs less than attorneys fees. A second DUI has a minimum period of imprisonment (jail) of 2 days, and a 2 year loss of license. You have other issues besides the immigration side.
