Im currently fixing to move into another house, they ask for a drivers license to do a background check. i have a warrant out because of a ticket but i am paying on it but its open until i finish it off. Im wondering will it pop up on the background check?
It can, but it depends on who is used to do the background check, and what access they have to public records.

It depends on the level of background search that's done, and who does it. Not all "background checks" are the same. Warrant information is generally obtained from the federal NCIC database, which only law enforcement has access to. But some courts also maintain outstanding warrant information, which can pop up on the right kind of background check.
