i was informed after speaking with a background checking service that in many cases i should be checking no for "have you ever been found guilty of a felony" and check yes for some other wording. this all came about when i would check yes but the charge never showed up on several different company's reports. 6 years ago when this happened no one ever really explained what how it would affect my rights when we successfully changed the case back to juvenile after the automatic waver to adult court. I don't want to get in trouble legally by making an attempt at getting a Purchase Permit or other scenarios buy saying the wrong thing. Is this a flat out no? does it depend? this is the only charge i had ever received. My lawyer at the time has passed away so I'm not sure where to ask.
any help would be fantastic

Adjudication: GUILTY BY COURT
You shouldn't rely on a "background checking service" for legal advice. You'll need to get your adjudication in front of an attorney for analysis as to whether you do or do not have the right to purchase a gun.
