As virtually always, I agree with my most respected colleague, Alexander. Having said that, I do need to note your ARREST is still discoverable. You should file a petition for expungement. Statutorily, that process takes 60 days but, in fact, it's more like 90. Get a lawyer to do it for you. If it gets screwed up, it's very hard to unscrew. The whole thing, even in Chicago, will cost less than $1000.00 and it will be the best money you ever spent. This avoids the risk that your background check contradicts the answers in your application.
