I have a deferred judgement on a possession of marijuana misdemeanor in Iowa and was stopped in Missouri for speeding and a cop found a small amount of weed in my car a pipe. I was given a court date etc and I’m wondering if the deferred judgement will show up in Missouri since it is Iowan based. The officer told me they usually drop small marijuana charges due to it being decriminalized in Missouri. I’m hoping the deferred judgment won’t show up so it will not be on my record. All advice helps thank you.
Your prior drug charge will be available to the prosecutor in Missouri. It will be listed on your history as a deferred but it can still be used against you.
