I HAVE A RECORD IN FLORIDA. MOSTLY SIMPLE MISDEMEANORS. I WAS CHARGED WITH ONE FELONY WHICH WAS A POSESSION OF COCAINE WHERE I GOT ADJUDICATION WITHHELD. IT HAPPENED 5 YEARS AGO. I MADE SOME TERRIBLE MISTAKES, AND NOW TRYING TO GET MY LIFE BACK ON TRACK. I WANT TO MOVE TO GEORGIA AND GO TO SCHOOL TO BECOME A L.P.N. I AM WONDERING WILL MY RECORD IN FLORIDA FOLLOW ME AND STOP ME FROM GOING TO SCHOOL OR WORK IN GEORGIA?
Your record will always be there. Hopefully it will not stop you from moving on with your life.
Your record will follow you everywhere. Go to the FDLE website to learn more about sealing and expunging: http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/expunge.
