I was pulled over for failing to signal and did a stop and go at a red light.
What "number" did this officer ask for? Did the officer ask for your telephone number? If you were turning right on red, and you didn't signal the turn, you violated that law. The officer could have given you a traffic ticket. The officer still could mail you a ticket. I do not know why your telephone number would be important, unless the officer was interested in calling you up for social reasons. That sounds rather inappropriate to me, but if you get a call from the officer, that would be for you to decide.
