I was pulled over and received a ticket for driving while suspended the officers gave me a court date but also said I would be finger printed? No warrants have been issued and the court date hasn't passed I just looked in case net and to the right of my case it said arresting agency I'm not trying to be arrested and I can't afford it with work already on my tail I'm wondering why there is a arresting agency on my case and if there's anything I should watch out before going into court or is there anything I can do
A new law went into effect in August 2016 requiring anyone charged with a certain level of misdemeanor in Missouri to be fingerprinted, even if you were not arrested. Once you hire an attorney to represent you for your ticket, the Prosecutor will give your attorney an order for fingerprinting which you will take to the police department and you will be fingerprinted. Or the judge will give you the order to be fingerprinted on the day of court.
