Our park says the management has the right to walk around our RV sites to look for situations that may be a hazard to the park and its residents. They say this gives them the right to open personal storage containers or sheds to look for items they deem to be dangerous or hazardous. They say the local police and fire departments have given them the ok to make these inspections periodically. These are unannounced. Today I caught my manager sliding the roof of my storage container open to look inside.
Have you thought of locking it? If it's your exclusive space, they should give you notice before inspecting.
Have your property locked and inform the management that they have to seek your permission prior to inspection. It is your private property. Alternatively request copy of the documents they claim give them permission.
