Your case is on the trial calendar in the Bronx. When a case is on the calendar in the Bronx it goes to STP which is a settlement part. If a settlement cannot be reached the case goes to the trial part.
Yes, there will be conferences between the lawyers for both sides and the judge in STP. There can be many conferences...over many months,...or one or two, depending on the issues in the case and the position of both sides. Talk to your lawyer about this! Good luck.
