My employee rights attorney won't return my calls or respond to my emails. Last we spoke was September for a fact finding interview for my unemployment hearing. I won my unemployment appeal and the attorney said she got some good evidence and was going to draft a demand letter. It is now January and I have not heard from her since September I have no received anything confirming she sent a demand letter I called left a message with her receptionists and emailed her 2 times and still nothing. Please tell me how I should proceed as I do not want to surpass my statue of limitations.
We have no idea why your attorney hasn't responded, but you should treat this as a business matter. Set up a meeting, share your concerns, and find another attorney if it is not resolved.
DO NOT message me asking follow ups to your question! That's what the forum "comment" feature is for. I am not your attorney here, and I cannot give you legal advice here. To become your attorney, I need to understand the facts and circumstances of your legal situation and meet you face to face.
