Lack of security guard at post, id scanners not working for years, known dangerous student was not where he was supposed to be and assaulted teacher which resulted in concussion among other psychological effects.
I don't know that you can't sue the school. However, you are probably first bound to exhaust the remedies available to you through your collective bargaining agreement (assuming one exists). You need to work with your union leadership, file complaints for the various infractions, and resolve the problems that you're dealing with.
