I was supervised on a sex offense in the past and am no longer required to register
Unfortunately, once you've been convicted of a sex crime in Wisconsin, the probation department tends to always place you in sex offender related probation in the future. It's frustrating to a lot of us, but technically the Department has the discretion to do it. The best I can suggest is that you might be able to get the judge to amend the Judgment of Conviction on your case if it's something REALLY removed from anything sexual to order the Department to place you on standard probation, but even that tends to be a long-shot because most courts don't want to get in the business of ordering them around.
