Hi I am currently on H1B and have filed for COS to F1. My program start date on the I-20 is in September. I was wondering if assuming I receive an approval notice in July, will the F-1 status be effective in July or will it be in September? Thanks!
It will be effective for the start of the school program, as the I-20 states.
