We just bought a house and during the inspection process we noticed a grading issue. We requested this to be fixed buy the person flipping the house which also happens to be the realtor's father and part of the company the realtor works for. The grading issue was not fixed when we went to closing however so we had it documented in our closing papers that they would fix to our satisfation. They are refusing to use a licensed landscaper and are insisting on using the person that created the issue in the first place also part of the flip. We have provided them with 3 quotes and asked them to pick and pay them directly again the refuse.
They are offering $1000 when all quotes are $2500+
This looks like a case for Magisterial District Judge review. You would be requesting relief well within the maximum limit of $12,000.00. File there. Good luck.
