Thanks for the attention, I am renewing my professional license and my dui case is still open, but with a possibility of dui misdemeanor being dismissed and lowered to dwai, based on the plea deal. I just want to ask where to get this certified court record and is it the same with court disposition?
Thanks so much!by the way i need the certified court record, as the Office of the Professions is asking me to submit one.
The easiest and fastest way to get a Certificate of Disposition is to go to the Clerk's office in the Courthouse where your case was handled. Given that you need it for professional licensing purposes make sure you get a certified copy.
Having said that, from your question it seems that the case is not yet complete in that sentencing has not occurred. In that case a final Certificate of Disposition will not be forthcoming.
All of these things would come from the clerk's office of whichever court the case was in.

The clerk's office in the courthouse where the case is pending will have the records.

You get it from the clerk's office in the court where your case is pending, once the case is over.
