I am diagnosed with schizophrenia, I was severely manic and incompetent didn't know what I was doing when I sign the domestic partnership papers. I wish for an annulment I also don't have the money to do so what can I do?. Please help.
You can start by going to a self help center at your courthouse or local legal aid to see if they can assist you. You will be required to provide evidence of your medical condition to the court to prove you were not of sound mind when you entered the domestic partnership. If legal aid or the self help center is unable to assist you consult with an attorney. Many offer free consultations.
The answers provided do not constitute comprehensive legal advice nor does it establish an attorney-client relationship.
You need to find an experienced family law attorney in your area to help you with this. This is not a simple request and you will need to submit additional information to the court in order to get your annulment. If you cannot get an annulment you can still get a divorce.
