My car was parked where i used to live because the key was lost and clutch was out, when i was out of state someone forged my name on bill of sale and guy who bought it had it registered and im guessing filed for loss or replacement title before i could report it stolen, the guy is claiming he bought it for $1000 which i think he should have known something was up, because a vehicle search of similar vehicles with around same mileage are going for around 13 k,
You should immediately file a stolen car report with the police and, of course, with you insurance if you had coverage. Assuming you can prove it, you should get your car back, leaving the buyer to go after the seller.
