It is male that has had a previous record from something entirely different. When he went before the judge, they could not prove that he did the sexual offense due to the child not coming forth, which is why he has 3 year probation. He has never met his new probation officer since she was just assigned to his case
If he's found to be in violation, he could get up to the maximum for the charge(s) that he is on probation for. As a result, he needs to take this very seriously and make sure he has an attorney that has handled these type of violation of probation cases before. Just because this is a first violation doesn't necessarily mean that he will automatically get reinstated since it's more important to know what the violation(s) is for and whether they can prove it.

You are too vague on the facts to give an intelligent answer.

Your question is too vague but if this person is a sex offender, he probably falls under the "Jessica Lunsford Act." VOP's for sex offenders and those on sex offender probation can have very serious consequences. It is best that this "person" contact a lawyer immediately and/or in the meantime, research the "Act."
