When we first started dating and having sexual relationships. He was 16 and I was 15 but that's cause I had just had a birthday. It turns out we're two years apart. Anyway we've been together ever since but now I don't know if it's ok. Can he still get into trouble if we were together even before he became an adult. So what's going to happen or what could happen? What should I do?
Since you don't state your age the question is difficult to answer. You say you are two years apart but apparently your birthday shortened the time difference somewhat. Nevertheless if he is having sex with anyone he knows to be under 18 he is violating the law. He could be prosecuted but given your closeness in age I doubt that will happen. Nevertheless until you are 18 he is talking a chance.
If you don't know what happens when you have sex, you're not mature enough to do it.
How old are you? If you're under 18, he's committing a crime. If you get pregnant, DNA testing and simple math will be able to show that the child was conceived when you were under 18.
If you lay off until you become an adult, chances are pretty slim that they will prosecute him.
Note that it's illegal for ANYONE to have sex with a minor, even if both parties are underage.
I do not accept telephone calls regarding my posts on Avvo. If you need more information, please use the "comments" button or post another question. This is a general discussion of legal principles by a California lawyer and does not create an attorney/client relationship.
I CAN'T STAND THESE QUESTIONS. If you are under 18, get boffing your boyfriend or he risks criminal prosecution when you end up pregnant. That's often what happens when you have sex with a 19 year old b/f. Then he leaves you with a baby and very little income with which to support said baby. What should you do? Get some birth control and quit having sex if you are still a minor.

He can get prosecuted for statutory rape. If you get pregnant, that constitutes great bodily injury - making the crime a strike.
Now remember, as a minor, the law does not allow you to consent to sex. And if your parents find out, your parents can call the police to press charges.
I suggest holding off having any further sex until you're 18 to protect each other and your relationship.
If you boyfriend is having sex with someone under 18, then there is a possibility that in the near future he could be having sex with Bubba in the state pen for several years because it's a crime.
