I am 17 years old. I was facing charges because I am under parole and haven't been going to class and ditching. They gave me a ankle brace for a month. It's only been a week and I broke it off. I was angry and not thinking. I quickly called my parole officer and told her I made a mistake. Before getting my brace they told me if I mess up I'm going to jail.
They told you the consequences before hand. If you have an attorney on this case then you need to call him immediately. You're on parole so you already committed a crime, you skip class which you're supposed to go to, and then you break off the monitoring device after only a week. Eventually there are consequences to your actions.
Were you certified as an adult or was your case in Juvenile court where there is no jail or parole. At 17, they would have had to have a hearing for you to be heard for your case to be transferred to Criminal Court. Since you say you are on Parole, that would mean you had already been sent to State Prison.
In other words, you may be using the wrong terminology and therefore won't get an accurate answer.
I can tell you that based on your behavior, and being told any more problems will result in jail, that appears to be where you are heading.
You should contact the lawyer who represented you at the time of your plea to let them know what is going on.
Good luck and stop doing everything you can to get yourself behind bars!
